Certificate Roadblocks

Civilian businesses do not care about your “Airborne” and other “hooah-hooah” certificates from the military, and they will almost certainly NOT help you get hired. Technical certificates on the other hand, will get you noticed, and possibly land you a nice paying civilian job once you hang up your boots. What are those technical certificates I’m talking about? The best way to find out is to start looking at open civilian jobs right now! It doesn’t matter if you are 5 years or 5 months away from separating from the military, it is never too early, or too late, to begin searching certificate pre-requisites for jobs that interest you.
